**Title: Embracing Rest and Trusting the Process: My Journey from Fear to Faith**
---
"This is what you want me to do, God? Boom! I got this."
With that mindset, I went straight to work after leaving my job. Determined to conquer the business world, I built programs, took on clients, and did everything necessary to ensure a steady income. The problem was during the hustle and grind, I missed a crucial point: this wasn't God's plan for me.
I wasn't yet cultivated in the character traits needed for true success in business and life. In my haste, I bypassed an essential process God intended for me: to be still. Lesson: God provides even in rest.
My fears and doubts about not making money overshadowed the real reason God called me away from my job: to dismantle every toxic behavior I had adopted, to rebuild myself personally and spiritually, to root myself in Him, and to serve with a pure heart. I ignored these critical aspects because money seemed more important.
Reflecting on the past, I realized God never showed me what was next because I wasn't supposed to know because I would have jumped straight into it without the necessary development. Me not understanding the assignment, when I didn't see what was next, I created my next🤦🏾♀️. Just fast and wrong! Lesson: Embrace the rest season.
My hurried actions revealed a poverty mindset and a lack of trust in God's plans. I just didn't see how God could provide if I wasn’t actively working. So, I prematurely created an entire business plan, driven by financial concerns rather than a genuine desire to serve others. Lesson: Submit to the process of being stripped of what doesn’t serve you.
It's amazing how one wrong thought can spiral into misguided actions, pushing you further down the wrong path. Romans 12:2 says, "Be transformed by the renewing of your mind." I was living in survival mode, constantly running on a hamster wheel to avoid "lack." My purpose had been identified, but it hadn’t been developed.
One significant lesson I've learned is that after deliverance comes development. Just like the children of Israel who wandered in the wilderness for years, God often takes us on a longer route to prevent us from retreating when faced with challenges. Lesson: Don’t be driven by fear.
Skipping steps only leads to mistakes. We must learn to lean on God’s guidance and trust His plan, even when it seems unclear. In this process, I've experienced tremendous growth and moments of self-discovery.
As I continue this journey, I find joy in relaxing and allowing things to unfold naturally. It’s liberating to let go of the constant need to control and to trust that God’s timing is perfect.

I hope my story resonates with you and encourages you to embrace your rest season, trust the process, and submit to God's plan. Remember, true success comes not from our hurried actions but from our unwavering faith and trust in God's provision.
